Friendly, efficient service. Large serving of food...enough to take home for meal next day! Friend and I split a pitcher of margaritas...only complaint was drinks needed alot more of solid ice cubes! As always, the food was yummy!!

Was blown away with the quality of food during the pandemic. They exceeded our expectations by far. Were hand delivering orders to cars in a friendly manner. Very well packaged to go and didnt mess up a thing. Everything was hott and fresh and beyond tasty. Don juans did not disappoint. You made this pregnant mamas friday night awesome thank you soooooo much!!!

Love this place!! The food IS authentic and the staff are amazing!!! The salsa has changed and is NOT authentic to Mexican cuisine. It use to be when they had the condiment bar but now the salsa is PIZZA sauce. I know salsa means 'sauce' but true Mexican salsa is not soup. Google images of Mexican Salsa and the pizza salsa is not what u will see. No chunks of onion,tomatoes, cilantro etc. Just soupy pizza flavor sauce??? The food is great but he serves are great but not the salsa. We still go back but we bring our own salsa. I am from California and I do know what Mexican salsa should be. 02/09/20 I want to UPDATE my review. The salsa is now AMAZING!!!!

The waiter was unfriendly and clueless. Dishes and utensils were caked with dried food. Server was unattentive and seemed annoyed with simple questions and requests. Was very annoyed with the fact that we wanted our tacos to be to order per the different options on the menu. We then had to track him down for our change and he didn't know how to make change. Bad experience overall and this wasn't the first time. There will not be a next time..

Came here for the first time after months of my sister ranting and raving about this place and I was so satisfied! I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about authentic Mexican since I’ve never had it, I absolutely loved it and so glad this was the first place to experience it. The portions were HUGE, I ended up bringing home almost all of my plate home. The food was soo good, the rice was seriously the best I’ve ever had. All of the employees were super friendly and on top of everything as soon as we were seated, the owner even introduced himself which I thought was super nice. Definitely recommend this place ☺️ Can’t wait to come back soon!!

Service was excellent. Always prompt and courteous. A little wait time, but it was expected on a weekend and we new the food would be good. I had the fried shredded beef Enchiladas with standard salad that comes with it, the portion was huge and delicious. The pre dinner nachos came with both house made salsa and been&cheese chip as well. Everything was delicious and food came out hot and quick. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

The food is absolutely AMAZING. Every time we visit we always get the best service. And you can’t go wrong with free chips and salsa on Cinco de Mayo while drinking margaritas.

Maria was our server, she treated us with the upmost respect she was kind and lovely to be around. We were served amazing food, we will definitely be returning!!!

I was very disappointed. I have heard how great the food is here and my son wanted to treat me to a chimichanga, (I haven't had one since I lived in Florida- Carlos and Pepe's on 17th St.-Awesome). I was really looking forward to it. When he got home with the food, before even opening the container, I could smell that it had been burnt. :( The bottom was soggy. The rice was cold. So, I wouldn't recommend take out. Maybe I'll have to go dine in, when I have the time and see (hope) that the food is better.RESPONSE: I placed my order at 5:55 pm. I was told 30-35 minutes. My son left the house at 6:20 to pick up food, he said he had to wait 5 minutes before he was able to speak with anyone, and was home by 6:50-6:55. Timing would have nothing to do with the food being burnt.

Went for national Margarita day, stayed for great food and excellent service! Ask for Camille, best service I think I've ever had...EVER! My first visit and won't be the last. I was over looked on the wait list and they quickly made it right. I enjoyed myself there, thanks Camille and bar staff!

Outstanding! Gay friendly (Super plus!) Large portions. The carne dinner was very tasty. The service was helpful with the menu and kind of entertaining. Love this place! If I lived in Buffalo, I would go here at least once a week.

I went there for my nieces birthday. My experience was awesome. The blue raspberry margarita was amazing. The food was awesome and our waiter was great. I would definitely recommend

This is "Literally" the only place I can't eat it all in a sitting. Busy usually but well worth it. Served hot...off the grill hot. The staff is very welcoming and the times I have been there, very attentive. 😀

I love Mexican food. Anywhere, anytime. This was my first time at this particular restaurant. It was SO good! I will be driving the 16 miles to come here again... And again!

Went during restaurant week. We got alot of food for a good price. There was a decent amount of food, service and food was great!

Just ate at this place and it was great!! Waiter was super friendly, the plates are so huge there’s enough food for 2 people in one dish. Even the 99 cent tacos the ground beef has great flavor! We’re on the way from Niagara Falls and just stopped by this area or otherwise I would be going to this restaurant regularly!

The food here is amazing, plain and simple. I have never had a bad meal. Seems like the most authentic food you can get in the area. The portions are HUGE. Usually left with two more meals of leftovers. Everything is very reasonably priced. The staff are great.A few annoyances though... The space is very awkward, especially by the bar. There are only four bar stools and there is a constant flow of waitstaff coming to and from the bar and it is hard not to be in their way. Also, I don't know what it is, but there are FLIES around the bar constantly. It wasn't just one time, but every time I have been there. Fix these small issues and the place would be 5-stars.

Crazy portions size! Excellent value for the price. Pork with salsa verde was very good, tender and flavorful! I recommend getting both corn and flour tortillas. Great service, too!

The staff and food are great! We were seated right away...the waiter even noticed the table wasn't just perfect apologised and cleaned (the barely noticeable) crumbs right away. He was super friendly and on top of things. To start they bring not only good tasting nachos/salsa...but also a small dish of refried beans with an amazing white cheese sauce. The waiter took our order and before we knew it...dinner was at the table. We were totally amazed at how huge the portions were and how great it all tasted. Also, the waiter must have herd us talking about perhaps ordering dessert because he came out with some fried tortillas covered in whip cream and Carmel drizzle....and said it was on the house. The whole dining experience was super from start to finish!

Huge plates of delicious, traditional Mexican food at great prices. Have been there numerous times, no complaints yet! It can get super busy sometimes, peak eating times, and they do run out of seating rather quickly. But even when busy they're super attentive and the wait times are manageable.

Mark & the kitchen staff went out their way to make me a dish I would surely love. The servers were on point and the atmosphere was awesome. Everyone in the place was happy and enjoying their meals.Which are huge and excellent prices! Can't wait for good weather to sit on the patio and enjoy some tasty margaritas!

Placed phone/pick up order and was told would be available for pick up in 45 minutes. Hour and half later order still not ready. If unprepared for volume, adjustments must be made and customers told accurate wait time to manage expectations.

So came plenty of times..tonight was horrible scented over 2hrs..first time they messed up both me and husband orders.had to wait for new food then only take off 9.00 ? Seriously?? Wont come back

This meal had beautiful flavors the avocado salad has a little bit of a kick but still good tasting A very friendly and pleasant surroundings. My dinner was chimichangas, I had a beef one and a chicken.

The food was very good. I sat at the bar (the chairs aren't super comfortable but I don't think they normally serve at the tiny bar. They were super busy on a very cold night so they were tight on space and I was alone. I offered to eat at the bar.I've never seen such a huge plate! It was a platter!!!I wish I would have known that the salsa bar was for anyone eating dinner...I only ate the salsa they gave me. I would have liked to try the other ones.It was a little expensive for flour tortillas but it was good.

Awesome food. I frequent Don Juan’s every couple of months. Their specials, drinks, and food are absolutely fantastic. The amount of food they give you is unreal, and is always consistent. The servers are very friendly and pay just enough attention to you so that your needs are met, but your not ignored.

The staff are friendly. Maria the bartender knows how to make awesome drink's. Maryann our server was awesome. The food portions are HUGE. I can't wait to go back again. Pics are of Chicken Fajitas and Enchilada Supremas. AWESOME job everyone.

You won't find better Mexican anywhere in the area! The food is amazing (not to mention the plates are huge!!) Service and drinks are top notch! Definitely our favorite place to go! Kudos to the management! Keep up the good work!!

I will some times go just because im craving their chips and salsa. Great alcoholic bevrages nice and cool area they have 2 bars one inside and the other in the enclosed patio. Best sits are inside or all the way out back on the exposed tables on the summer. Food and plates always hot Not to mention delicious food. Very authentic as well. GREAT PLACE FOR A DATE OR FAMILY DINNER. * ** Highly Recomend it **

It's been a few months since I've been there. Obviously not since covid break out. The food was not the same. I think it might be another 5 mos. Until I visit them again.

Great food, excellent service, and great prices. The portions were enough for 2 meals. Dining room, bar area and bathrooms kept very clean, staff was pleasent and we'll mannered, cleanliness was obvious. It was a short wait time for a table on a busy night as well...

Went here for my birthday and the waiter was super nice! He gave me a free birthday drink! Downside was how small the place is and they do not take reservations so we had to wait about 1 hour on a Tuesday night

Best Mexican food in WNY! The service is always great, food is amazing. I don’t know the servers name who is our favorite but his hair is normally slicked back. I believe he died it last time he was our waiter. Super nice guy! The enchiladas are my favorite but my boyfriend says you can’t go wrong with the Burrito Gonzales. The chorizo dip is definitely the best out of any place we’ve tried. Taco Tuesday is where it’s at!

This place was phenomenal, as my wife and I went out just ourselves, which is a rare occasion. We were immediately seated, even though it was very busy and the parking lot was to capacity. Our waiter was very friendly and it seemed sincere, so that was a huge plus, and it showed in his service throughout the night. I was hungry, but I was not ready for the amount of food we were going to receive, as I was surprised at the portions. The food was delivered quickly, and the nachos were to die for, as you could just eat that and be satisfied. I've driven by this place many times, and never eaten there and I am glad my wife suggested it. If you want authentic Mexican food there is no other place to go but here.

This place used to be soooooo much better.The tacos were entirely too greasy and lacked the taste and consistency of authentic tacos.I don't know what happened.. This used to be our go-to for Mexican food.On the bright side the waiter Ariel was very nice and attentive.
